Donn T is an eclectic singer, songwriter, producer, musician, and label owner. Hailing from Philadelphia and coming from a storied musical lineage she is a unique talent in her own right. She recently performed at the star-studded Talking Heads/David Byrne Tribute at Carnegie Hall in NYC for which Rolling Stone called her “avant-funkateer… easily the heaviest groove of the night.”
Last year we premiered the cool ballad “Last Breath” from the album Flight of the Donn T. The story gets even better now, as Donn T’s brother, legendary Roots leader, Questlove, has put together a remix that takes the song in an entirely new direction that we just love, and the siblings perform together on a new video.

The Last Breath Questlove Remix video is the brainchild of IDegosuperego Media director Eternal Polk with video editing by Eternal Polk and Foremost Poets, and graphics by Foremost Poets, and is inspired by The Alchemist and Santiago's journey to find himself. Donn T, as the traveler, is awakened from a dream where clouds have been delivered to her. The lyrics of the song speak about the courage it takes to face things that threaten us, as well as, the resilience it takes to triumph. Designer Ashaka Givens is stylist for the video. Ms Givens is most recently lauded for styling Women's Image Award recipient, director Nzingha Stewart, who won awards for outstanding writing and direction of the Lifetime TV movie With This Ring, a film in which Donn T's single "Midnight" appears.
