As one-half of the retro-driven, forward-thinking production duo Cool Million, Denmark-based Frank Ryle has provided funkilicious soul arrangements for legendary vocalists such as Glenn Jones, Meli’sa Morgan, and Leroy Burgess over the past five years.

Still working with partner Rob Hardt, he’s now branching out into the nu-disco vein with a highly danceable, seamlessly melodic jam called “Never Gonna Let You Go” under the moniker Ryle. Joined by Kenya-based singer Seest, who flanks the polished rhythms and swirly keyboards with an assertive tone and rich phrasing, Ryle once again has captured the nostalgic essence of 1980s boogie while keeping his ears in tune with modern harmonic sensibilities.
