First Listen: Gregory Porter revisits a classic with "L-O-V-E"

    (September 23, 2017) 2-time GRAMMY-winning vocalist Gregory Porter has released “L-O-V-E,” the exuberant 2nd single from his forthcoming tribute album Nat King Cole & Me, which is due out October 27 on Blue Note Records.

    The track features Porter’s caressing vocals and a brilliant trumpet solo by Terence Blanchard, backed by a spry rhythm section of pianist Christian Sands, bassist Reuben Rogers, and drummer Ulysses Owens. The song was written by Milt Gabler and Bert Kampfert and was featured as the title track of Cole’s 1965 album on Capitol Records.
