(March 9, 2022) We've called Michigan-based singer, songwriter and pianist Hannah Baiardi a "throwback" to the halcyon days of the early 90s, when radio was particularly open to creative artists who bridged the gaps between pop, soul and jazz. But Baiardi is finding her own audience three decades later for her brand of genre-bending sound that appeals to adults looking for good music, category be damned.

Baiardi should continue to please her growing fanbase with her brand new single, featuring hip-hop artist Joey Hewie. Opening with a simple acoustic piano and percussion arrangement, "Lot Lot" mixes up the jazzy vibe with staccato, hip-hop phrasing, developing over the course of the track into more of an R&B ballad. It all works nicely.

Hannah tells us about the song, "I wanted to capture the resolve and dignity of artists trying to make it in the new music industry. We are facing uncertainty and change, but we have conviction and we have drive. It's sort of a reflection and a conversation about fellow songwriters and artists or 'people in your tribe' all in this career together, we are working together in solidarity to navigate this industry and find worth in each other.  It's about being around people you 'vibe with' that boost you and lift you up."
