(April 22, 2020) We first wrote about Canadian keyboardist and producer Jonny Tobin earlier this year, when he released his cool collaboration, “Kameleon.” Now Jonny is readying his new EP, Weekends, and it is more of his fresh funk meets jazz meets electronic sound.

Jonny leads off the new album with “Saaang Somethin’,” a tasty midtempo that takes a space somewhere between Earth Wind & Fire and Ramsey Lewis. This is a great vibe as we enter the Spring season, and is surely a cut that will make SoulTrackers smile.

Check out “Saaang Somethin’” below and welcome Jonny Tobin back to SoulTracks.
