First Watch: LaTonya Holmes feels a "Love Hangover"

Georgia-born LaTonya Holmes followed her dream to act and sing on Broadway. Her talent led her to a role in the national touring company of Oprah Winfrey's The Color Purple. But then, a tragic accident occurred - and within days she lost her eyesight. It took two years, but with faith and the contribution of four different doctors, her sight was restored.

After this dark period, LaTonya is prepared to step out in a big way. She's recorded this dynamic update of Diana Ross' 1976 smash "Love Hangover." As a nod to her own health challenges, she decided to donate a portion of her single sales to AIDSWalk-LA and other HIV charities through World AIDS Day, which comes again on Decemeber 1.

Check out LaTonya's new take on an old favorite below, and tell us what you think!
