(October 20, 2022) As we get older, unfulfilled dreams that we had as children are often packed away and considered as "what could have been." Oftentimes money, time and talent are put into something that does not bear fruit. For Rochester, New York's Roger Hill, putting his lifelong dream on the shelf was never an option. Ever since he sang in the church choir, he knew that he wanted to be a professional singer. It was never "if" for him, but a matter of "when." Now in 2022, Hill continues to make his dream a reality with his latest single release, "Come Back To Me," released under the moniker RogerHill Music.

With an arrangement that borrows firmly from 80s R&B, Hill crafts a ballad that will be comfortable to the ear. Singing about a love that he desires to return, Hill's vocal recalls the sensual vibes of Ron Isley and Freddie Jackson from that era. It also reflects Hill's desire to create feel good music wrapped in soul and R&B. With the percussion and guitar complimenting his tenor voice, "Come Back To Me" delivers on Hill's "feel good " intentions.

As Hill prepares his debut album, slated for a release before the end of this year, allow "Come Back to Me" to serve as a proper introduction to an artist set to impact adult R&B. It also serves as a reminder to those chasing their dreams that it is never too late to make them come to life.
