(May 23, 2017) Growing up near Detroit, Craig T. Erquhart developed a passion for music, and it all began in church. But when he began to grow – REALLY grow – basketball became another love. At 6’ 6” he developed into a college player, but never forgot his musical roots, writing, singing and playing the piano. He also began to write and produce for various local artists, learning how to arrange vocals along the way. Once college was over, he put basketball aside for awhile and devoted himself full-time to his music, going by the stage name SeeJai.

We recently got to know the music of SeeJai and we think SoulTrackers are going to dig it, beginning with our newest First Listen. “Price 4 Love” is groovy midtempo that discusses and age old issue in love. SeeJai tells us: “I wrote ‘Price 4 Love’ because as an artist (and in life) chasing your dreams while trying to maintain a relationship has its ups and downs. The thoughts of truthfulness, dishonest and a tug of war in conversations / arguments, all encompassed in a song.”
