(March 20, 2021) With smooth acoustic vibes leaning on Tamia’s “Officially Missing You” and Babyface’s “When Can I See You Again,” R&B vocalist TruSoul Davis emerges with “These Questions,” a cozy ballad that puts relationships under the microscope.

The Cleveland, Ohio native confronts the taken ladies with a litmus test designed to keep score on their partners’ frailties and to determine the lifespan of their relationships. “Does he support your dreams/Motivate you to reach your supreme, baby?,” he warmly asks on the second verse. As the song unfolds, so does the onslaught of concerns and questions. Most importantly, he does it with a sweet dose of vocal dexterity by hearkening back to classic R&B crooning, but with a stroke of ‘90s contemporary soul of the Tyrese and Ruben Studdard variety.

Davis claims the new single, featured on the newly-released LP Soul Fiyah, is “designed to do what I do best; “sing songs to the hearts of women and the minds of men.”
