Luckily for her fans, “next” just arrived in the form of a live for VEVO video performance of her single “Slide.” Backed by a superb small ensemble of skilled players, H.E.R. delivers a warm and supple vocal here laced with hip-hop phrasing and her own rhythm guitar work. Enjoy.
