Some have gone so far as to affectionately dub Atlanta native Rahbi as "Lil Rahsaan," after soul artist Rahsaan Patterson, based on their vocal similarities.  However, Rahbi, who is no stranger to music or performance space, has clearly set his own distinct path as a singer and songwriter.  Years back, Rahbi was part of a group which was signed to LaFace Records but never saw the release of their album.  Seemingly undeterred, he didn't lose sight of the music that lived within and continued singing both as a background singer for others and, more recently, as a solo artist on his debut album Rahbi, The EP

On Rahbi, The EP, the young singer brings to listening audiences thirty-three minutes and nine tracks filled with diversified sounds.  Singing in his trademark falsetto about topics ranging from cultural unity to racial harmony to the good and bad in relationships, and varying the tempos effectively on ballads, fast tempo songs and club bangers, Rahbi holds your attention in such a way that time passes before you're actually aware.  Rahbi, The EP is filled with a collection of strong material from start to finish.  Standing out is "Another Chance," which is guaranteed to stir something inside of you that causes your body to involuntarily respond to the infectious beat!  There is also a beautiful, but all too brief, uncredited piano interlude that leads into "Take U 2 A Dream," a mesmerizing song that possesses the ability to soothe all the ills of a hectic day.

Today, when there is an opportunity to see Donnie in performance, Rahbi can often be found singing in the background.  His unmistakable falsetto stands out above the melodies and his energetic moves on stage command the audience's undivided attention.  From his work with others and now from his debut release, Rahbi has made it evident that he is a future star ready to make his mark.
