(June 20, 2018) South Carolina born, Harlem-based singer RAI (pronounced Ray) has a sense of classic soul in his music, and is less focused on what is hot at that moment. "I'm a singer who grew up loving how R&B music changed the world and made people feel. My music is the truest expression of who I am today. I'm trying to create music that people will want to hear next year or the year after that and after that. I am committed to making good music that’s true to who I am."

RAI's latest project, Love’s On The Way, shows his appreciation for what came before and his desire to mold it all into something that looks forward, not back.

The title track from the album is a sweet soul ballad that would have sounded good 20 years ago and will still sound good 20 years from now. With a bit of a Kenny Lattimore feel, RAI moves smoothly in and out of falsetto and he croons to his lady.
