Kalani has had a desire to sing since she was small child, often imitating the likes of artists such as the late Phyllis Hyman, Angela Bofill, Teena Marie, Donnie Hathaway, Stevie Wonder, and countless others.  Born and raised in Oakland , CA , her initial desire was to sing R&B as a career.  She later accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior, and started singing in the church choir.  She began to realize that her desire had changed, and she wanted to sing for the Lord.

Kalani's soulful, yet anointing voice, is powerful and compelling.  A humble person, she is thankful to God, in how He has blessed her to be able to minister His word through song.  She has had ability to do so where she currently attends Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in Fairfield , Ca, and at other various church functions.    

Her CD titled ‘From My Heart to Yours' is currently in rotation on the radio airwaves across the nation. On this cd, she had the opportunity to work with producers such as Ambush & Preach.  She also worked with Jamie Hawkins (son of Walter & Tramaine Hawkins), who produced four of the tracks with Sunny Hawkins as a featured background vocalist.

Kalani brings forth a combination of R&B, Neo-Soul, Jazz and Hip-Hop, mixed with convicting Gospel lyrics & melodic vocals, which were all written by her.  She captures a wide variety of listeners with various styles and preferences. 'From My Heart to Yours' ministers to the soul and is sure to win you over.

Blessed with the gift of singing and songwriting, Kalani is on a mission to reach the masses, sharing her gift and edifying the Lord Jesus Christ. She looks forward to spreading the word of God across the world through song, with the ability to witness to the lost, and encourage the saved!
