When we started SoulTracks, our first articles were about immensely talented but underappreciated artists. And one of the first pieces we wrote was about Gospel/Soul singer Jon Gibson. He recorded with Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson and MC Hammer and had countless top 10 Gospel/Christian hits, but never received the broad attention that his talent warranted.

Well, it has been too long since we've heard a JG album, and when we found out he was working on a new one, we wanted to make sure SoulTrackers -- especially his long time fans -- knew how they could help. Jon is working independently on his tenth full length album, tentatively titled Project 10, and he is asking his fans to help him finance it through a campaign on KickStarter.com.  Fans who contribute can get all kinds of goodies, but best of all they can help Jon get some new music out!
