"I always felt like I should be on the creative side."  Those are the sentiments of Cilla K, a vocalist who enjoyed a lucrative career in modeling.  Several well-respected producer/musicians were in agreement with her creative side after listening to the David Patillo-produced "Lost in You."  Following the success of her internet-only single, Cilla K releases her debut Fine Line with the able assistance of Danny P (Joss Stone), Junius Bervine (Common), Clay Sears (Lauryn Hill) and Patillo.  This sonic canvas of hip-hop, jazz and R&B creations focuses on love, hope and independence.  And Cilla K's sultry alto adds a soulful tension throughout this futuristic, eclectic.

The title track and "Lost in You" offer a wonderful cinematic flair with rich, enticing orchestrations.  The slippery beats on "Future" are an absolute match for Cilla K's vocal textures.  "Evil Child" spins a dark bluesy tale of a romance that has gone haywire:  "You had it good until you crossed the line."   "Demain" (French for tomorrow) is a broken-beat pop-driven melody that is Fine Line's bounciest track.  Those are just some of the fascinating creations from Cilla K that make Fine Line absolutely a must hear.
