    80s soul and house music star and "Trapped" singer Colonel Abrams is in a rough way – ill with no health insurance and homeless - and his friends are gathering around to help in this holiday season. (Read more on Colonel Abrams)

    A GoFundMe page has been created by music producer Derek Jenkins to raise money to help Abrams secure temporary housing, and also get him help for his diabetes.

    There is also a benefit concert planned for January 14th in New York with an all-star set of artists participating. Read more about it here.
