A Note from Conya Doss to her Detroit fans

    Dear Supporters,

I would first and foremost like to apologize to all my fans in Detroit who came out to Pure Nightclub on Friday, March 28. The band and I were there and were ready to perform, but the promoter for the event did not come through on his end.  The band was not paid nor was I paid so it was just not possible for us to perform. I tried to make concessions with the promoter and he was still not willing or able to meet these concessions. Prior to this, the band and I rehearsed at soundcheck. The promoter was at the soundcheck and was fully aware of what would take place if his obligations were not met.

I would like everyone to know that from here on out I will no longer be supporting Live Soul Fridays. I love Detroit, but the promoter was just not on the up and up. As previously stated, I enjoyed speaking with those of you who did come out to the show. I will be back in Detroit soon and I hope to see all of you there under better circumstances!

    Peace and Blessings,
    Conya
