New Rahsaan Patterson and Eric Roberson playlists help celebrate Dome Records anniversary

    (February 1, 2018) As more and more SoulTrackers are using Spotify as their means of discovering and listening to soul music, we are working to let readers know about some of the great Spotify playlists that are out there.

    SoulTracks has created our “Fresh Soul” playlist, updated weekly, which includes 30 of the current soul music songs that we’re digging the most. And many of our ST writers also have playlists covering different shades of soul

    Dome Records, the UK-based label headed by Peter Robinson which has just celebrated its 25th anniversary, has added several new playlists to its range of curated soul playlists on Spotify.

    Dome Records, the UK-based label headed by Peter Robinson which has just celebrated its 25th anniversary, has added several new playlists to its range of curated soul playlists on Spotify.

    In addition to its flagship Dome presents Soul Loungin’ mix of new music and throwback gems, the label now has an Essential Rahsaan Patterson, Essential Brenda Russell and an Eric Roberson playlist From The Moon To Earth.  All of these span the artists’ careers.  Also proving popular is the Kind of Bluey playlist devoted to all things Incognito and other Bluey-related projects.

    Leading DJ and radio personality Jeff Young, currently on the air each Sunday on London’s Jazz FM, also curates a Jeff Young’s Jazz & Soul Journey playlist.
