The London Evening Standard has reported that rocker Lenny Kravitz is to play Marvin Gaye in an upcoming movie about the Motown singer's troubled final years, particularly the years in the early 80s when he was living in Europe.

The movie is to be produced by filmmaker Julien Temple, known in the music world for his movies on punk rock group, the Sex Pistols.

This all sounds very tentative, but it would be a very interesting combination of star and subject if it happens. To see more on this, visit the Evening Standard page.
