(September 8, 2017) Maxwell had a hit a couple years ago with the ethereal ballad, “Gods.” And today, he gives a couple new looks at the song, even as he hints about a new album coming. First is the video based on the Kapiro Remix, a stylish, nighttime movie of the singer traveling through a neon city. Second is the full new take on the song, “More Gods,” which starts as an airy, orchestral movement of the song, ultimately leading into into the electronic remix over its nine-plus minutes.

In an interview with Billboard magazine, Maxwell indicated that he wanted to “add an extra visual element to the video.”

But then, when asked about the real elephant in the room – the timing of the third segment of the trilogy, BlackSummersNIGHT,  he simply said mysteriously,  “Be prepared to be surprised. Night is coming.”
