New York, NY - Baltimore native Maysa Leak has gained a fiercely loyal following over the past decade as one of the great modern soul/jazz vocalists of our time.
As she continues her mission to satisfy her fans Leak is embarking on US tour dates starting in Detroit, MI May 30th 2009 at the Detroit Music Hall with special guest Kloud 9.
The tour; promoted by Wells Entertainment, is a promotional launch for her 7th solo studio album to date entitled "Metamorphosis" which impacted the Billboard charts at number1.

Leak feels this new album captures everything she's been known for plus some new vibes that reflect a growth and rebirth that she feels aptly brought about the title of the new CD.
Maysa's first major break occurred in the late 80s, following her graduation from Morgan State University, when she became part of Stevie Wonder's backing group, Wonderlove, and performed on the Jungle Fever soundtrack. Shortly there after she was contact by Incognito front man Bluey who made her the groups lead singer and started a tenure that would help launch a career that would spawn over a decade.
While Maysa is still a member of the UK based jazz/funk ensemble Incognito she has created quite a following on her own over the years and is ready to show her true metamorphosis for fans on these tour dates.
She'll be joined by twin brother soul duo Kloud 9 who have taken the UK soul scene by storm and are creating quite a buzz here at home in the US.
