Pace Family Join Together for Christmas CD

    ATLANTA, GA - For the first time in their illustrious careers all siblings of The Pace Family will release a Christmas CD, "Celebrating The Heart of Christmas" on Tyscot Records Tuesday, October 30th. The family includes the eight sisters that make up THE ANOINTED PACE SISTERS, LASHUN PACE and their brother PASTOR MURPHY PACE.

    The album was recorded live in their hometown, Atlanta, Georgia. One of the treasured singles will be their rendition of the memorable Donny Hathaway 1970 classic "This Christmas" among the traditional "Away In A Manger" and "Go Tell It On The Mountain". As a bonus, this Christmas project also features some vocals from the children of the Pace Family.

    Leslie Pace, the spokesperson for the Anointed Pace Sisters is currently enjoying a stint as a performer and actress in the Walt Disney production of "The Lion King" playing at the headquarters in Orlando, FL.

    The Anointed Pace Sisters were recently featured in movies as, The Fighting Temptations, Tyler Perry's Madea's Family Reunion and the 2006 Jiffy Lube Print and TV Commercial. In the fall, they will have their own international 30-minute TV special on I-Gospel airing on the Daystar network. They will perform at this year's Gospel Music Workshop of America at the Walt Disney Properties as other label mates such as The Rance Allen Group, Vashawn Mitchell and Brent Jones.

    The Anointed Pace Sisters come from a family of talented singers, musicians, and preachers. The group began singing together in local high school talent shows and continued to mesmerize audiences throughout their travels. In the early '70s, they won the Best Gospel Group award at the Annual Church of God in Christ Music Convention under the direction of Dr. Mattie Moss Clark (Mother of the Renowned Clark Sisters). In 1992, these lively, fun-filled sisters reached national recognition with their debut album on Savoy Records entitled U-Know.  Now on Tyscot Records, The Anointed Paces Sisters are Ready to Do It Again!  Their new project carries their familiar harmonies and melodic tones. 

    This Christmas, the family will bring all of us great tidings and great joy with their "Celebrating The Heart of Christmas" CD on Tyscot Records.
