(November 3, 2016) We’ve received the following about a fundraiser for former Earth Wind & Fire guitarist and vocalist Sheldon Reynolds, who is ailing with Parkinson’s Disease, and we wanted to pass it on to SoulTrackers for their prayers and any support they’d like to provide.

My name is Sheldon Reynolds, formerly of the music group Earth Wind and Fire.  I have been the lead guitar player and have done vocals for Earth, Wind, and Fire and more.  I used to sing all night with the groups and come off the stage feeling strong and confident, but about two years ago I had more and more trouble to play my guitar and stand on stage.  After six months of this, I was getting worse so I went to the doctor and was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease.

My life has been very blessed, to bring joy too so many and to meet so many joyful devoted spirits had been so amazing. So In good and bad times I have no complaints. But in every life there may come a time when we have to swallow our pride.

Former me, this is that time!

Having an illness like Parkinson's not only affects you physically but it also can effect us economically and even spiritually. Job losses and having to start life again with nearly nothing is humbling but I still rejoice.
During good times and bad I am and have always been unashamed to call on the name of Jesus who still leads me on my calling. That calling is to inspire all who I can. So please join me in helping all in need.
