At the age of eight DJ Soulswede asked his parents for a copy of George McCrea’s “Rock Your Body”. He knew what music was good for his soul. His father was a church organist, and his record collection provided more fodder appreciation of soulful music.

DJ Soulswede became a pioneer in the audio podcast format, having done his first podcast in 2005. The original Soulinterviews.com was launched in 2008, providing unique insight into the multi-layered world of soul music. These interviews are unique in that they focus on the flow of the interview, rather than specific questions. Listeners have the pleasure of hearing their favorite musicians respond to in-depth questions that are meaningful, giving insight to the musician as a person, as well as insight into their music.
Throughout the years listeners have had the pleasure of listening to interviews ranging from international icons to those that are up and coming in the musical scene.
