(August 26, 2018) For the role of their new lead singer, The Stylistics have reached out to an old friend. Barrington “Bo” Henderson is a longtime standout singer who had stints in The Dramatics and Lakeside before the auspicious role as the lead singer of The Temptations in the late 90s and early 00s.
Henderson issued the solo album Best Kept Secret in 2003 and was reportedly working on his sophomore album when The Stylistics came calling. He will join original members Airrion Love and Herbert Murrell and more recent addition Jason Sharp. Of course, the Stylistics and the Temptations have performed several times in multi-artist shows, so the members have known each other well for years.

A Pennsylvania native, the Las Vegas-based Henderson replaces Michael Muse, whose stint with the Stylistics was quite brief. For most of their legendary careers, The Stylistics had Russell Thompkins, Jr. in the lead role, but followed Mr. Thompkins with the talented Eban Brown for more than a decade and a half.
