(March 31, 2018) A few years ago, we began following the career of SUCH (short for Su Charles) who wowed audiences during Season 11 of American Idol and then began issuing some very attractive singles and videos. SoulTrackers responded in a big way to her debut album, Trial and Error.
We’ve been happily tracking her ever since, and are glad that she’s back with something new, a familiar song that she takes in her own direction as a teaser for her upcoming album. She says, “I took a break from working on my album to record a cover of John Legend's ‘Ordinary People’ and wanted to share it. It features my friend Monique Brooks-Roberts, who not only arranged the strings but played and recorded all the parts of an entire string orchestra herself, and my band director JC on Fender Rhodes. And of course I had to put some 'Such Sauce' on it.”
