We just received some good news from our friend David Nathan of SoulMusic records. He will be issuing a brand new album by the legendary trio The Three Degrees. Here is David's post:
It gives me great pleasure to announce that The Three Degrees will be releasing a brand new studio album next year on SoulMusic Records (SMR)through Cherry Red Records! It's the first album of new music on the label and I'm particularly happy that it's by this legendary group, who I first met in the early '70s when they were constant visitors to the UK. It's very satisfying to be working with John Abbey, who first gave me the opportunity to begin my career in music journalism (back in 1967!).
Strategy (Our Tribute To Philadelphia) boasts nine new renditions of classic Philly songs from the 1970s, recorded at Down In Deep Studios in Atlanta, USA.
