D.C based artist Wayna's sophomore release has been gaining momentum and receiving accolades around the world. It's been out a few weeks now and the first single ‘ My Love' was written in honor of those women victims of Domestic Violence. To raise awareness in domestic violence. In fact, the free download offered on SoulTracks now is Wayna's way of increasing the awareness and giving back. October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
Wayna just finished shooting her first music video of ‘My Love'. It will be available online for viewing and on various video outlets end of October.
And.... She's just embarked last week on a 6 week FYE Retail Store. Performing, Signing and Selling CD's
Wayna's ‘My Love' has debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 Singles Sales at #18, and is also #2 on the R&B/Hip Hop charts.
Wayna will be performing at an ONUTSS event in NY on Wednesday, November 12th and then at Tillman's Lounge on Monday, November 17th in NYC.
