The selections from the Praise and Worship CD were culled from T.D. Jakes' 1997 film soundtrack, Woman, Thou Art Loosed! and from 1998's Live From The Potter's House. There are some ministries that have a timeless message, and that message remains relevant throughout the decades.

This is the case with the latest release, (or re-release if you will) of T.D. Jakes.  Jakes has joined other artists, such as Yolanda Adams, Daryl Coley and Richard Smallwood in approving the release of some of gospel's most loved songs in the form of praise and worship collections.

One of the more upbeat selections, "High In All The Earth," will have you rising to your feet and raising your hands to the sky.  The next song, "Majesty," was also recorded from Live From The Potter's House, and you can hear and feel the excitement and the praise from the pulpit and the congregation.  Bishop Jakes will often introduce a song with a bellowing and rousing word, clarifying the intent of the message.

When the praising and dancing has subsided, you can close your eyes, wave your hands slowly in the air and enjoy the balladry of "Sanctuary", "Let's Give Him Praise", and "His Presence Is Here".  All three were recorded from Live From The Potter's House.

The selections from the movie project Woman, Thou Art Loosed!  are not to be ignored. Several are included on this CD.  Everyone knows the power of "What A Mighty God We Serve," and Jakes' rendition is one of the best.  The movie soundtracks have a distinctive feel.......very dramatic and the "swells" are heavier, but the songs "Give Thanks," "Mercy Saw Me," and "I Worship You Almighty God" have Bishop Jakes' anointing all over them.

Add this CD to your spiritual collection so that you too can experience church everyday! Recommended
