    Hey SoulTrackers!

Coming over to New York from South Africa has been an eye and ear opener for me, exposing me to all the beautiful sounds and music from different up and coming artists that I’ve either been lucky enough to work with in the past year whilst making my album, or to have seen perform live and been blown away.

Top of the list has to be JARROD LAWSON, with his debut album blowing up in the UK and across Europe. USA seems to be catching on to his fire now but please do check him out, his vocal tone and control, combined with his jazz/soulful piano skills and musical depth make him an overall force I have not seen equaled in a long time.

Two other artists who have their own albums coming out in 2016, and who I am also eternally honored to have worked with, are CHANTAE CANN and AARON MARCELLUS. Chantae has done some incredible work with Snarky Puppy and I cannot wait for her album to drop. New Yorkers will know about Aaron Marcellus, and as soon as his album which I’ve been lucky enough to catch previews on, drops, I am sure the rest of the country will be equally blown away by him.

Finally, in a different genre, one of the best live shows I’ve been to is JOHNNYSWIM, a married soulful folk duo who make you really believe in love with their music. They are the real deal!

Thanks so much to SoulTracks for letting me get my love for these artists off my chest!

    Much love,

    Greg Dean
