One constant in GUM’s production has been the vocalists who can add soulfulness to his dance oriented productions. GUM repeats that feat on his latest “AWA,” a track that features the vocals of Detroit based singer Monica Blaire.
“AWA” is a cut that incorporates the percussion that drew GUM to South Africa, where he now lives. “AWA” also has a funky and bouncy bass line that keeps heads bobbing and will draw people to the floor. Blaire’s vocals bring it all together.
