Kloud 9Kelvis Duffie, one half of the musical duo Kloud 9, lost much of his Houston home on Monday, June 30, in a fire that spread quickly.  Duffie was on the telephone with Zomba VP of Promotions, Jeff Grant, when the fire started.  Fortunately, the entire family escaped unharmed, and are now living at a local hotel.

We received notice of the fire from Kendall Duffie, Kelvis's twin and the other half of Kloud 9.  The email quotes Kelvis as saying "I'm handling my duties to keep my family together during this crisis.  As long as we stick together and pray together we'll be fine."

The Duffie brothers had just been putting the finishing touches on their new album, Enjoy the Ride.

The prayers of SoulTrackers will be going out, both in thanks for the safety of the Duffie family and in the hope that they can return to their home soon.
