Atlanta-based singer and songwriter RAHBI has been a longtime favorite of SoulTrackers. With a funky soul and unabashed showmanship, he is an artist who defies convention. His extravagant, over-the-top performances, and idiosyncratic presentation have earned him the fans and the respect of his peers.
His latest EP 'GoldenChild: Trimester 3... 'HELLO WORLD' is, quite fittingly, all about embracing one's unique identity and living with purpose. The EP's lead single, "Blush," features Shanell (of Young Money) and is a symbol of everyone's own inner-greatness. Inspired by Dr. Sharrell Luckett's studies in theater and performance as it relates to identity and self-image, the eye-catching stop-motion video for "Blush" is a dramatized re-imagining of RAHBI's origin story, starring Nurse Daisy (Shanell) and The 'Golden Child' Rahbi says, '"Blush' tells a magical and exciting story of The GoldenChild's birth. Knowing he's been sent to inspire masses, Nurse Daisy views it as her duty to help baby RAHBI escape from the hospital and immediately start living his purpose. He's the cutest thing she's ever seen and can't help but blush during the entire escapade."
